Sarah zat aan haar bureau en staarde naar het oplichtende scherm.
Sarah sat at her desk, staring at the glowing screen.
"Waarom zou ik code schrijven als AI het kan?" vroeg ze aan haar collega.
"Why should I write code if AI can do it?" she asked her colleague.
Mark keek op van zijn monitor en glimlachte.
Mark looked up from his monitor and smiled.
"Het gaat niet alleen meer om het bouwen van software," legde hij uit.
"It is not just about building software anymore," he explained.
"Onze taak is om de fabriek voor de software te bouwen."
"Our job is to build the factory for the software."
Sarah zuchtte, verward door zijn antwoord.
Sarah sighed, feeling confused by his answer.
"Dus, wij beheren nu alleen de machines?" vroeg ze.
"So, we just manage the machines now?" she asked.
"Precies," antwoordde Mark, "wij creëren de infrastructuur voor agents."
"Exactly," Mark replied, "we create the infrastructure for agents."
"Maar is het niet saai om alleen naar de AI te kijken?" fluisterde Sarah.
"But is it not boring to just watch the AI?" Sarah whispered.
Mark schudde zijn hoofd en opende zijn code-editor.
Mark shook his head and opened his code editor.
"Ik ben het er niet mee eens; code schrijven helpt me helder denken."
"I disagree; writing code helps me think clearly."
"Als ik schrijf, begrijp ik de uitvoeringsomgeving beter."
"When I write, I understand the execution environment better."
Sarah boog voorover om hem een nieuwe functie te zien typen.
Sarah leaned in to watch him type a new function.
"Je hebt gelijk, het voelt directer," gaf ze toe.
"You are right, it feels more direct," she admitted.
Ze begon eindelijk weer haar eigen regels te typen.
She finally started to type her own lines again.
"Het gaat om focus en echt begrip," stemde ze in.
"It is about focus and real understanding," she agreed.
