Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov raised the possibility of transferring the S-400 systems in Türkiye to another country.

Rusya Dışişleri Bakanı Sergey Lavrov, Türkiye'deki S-400 sistemlerinin başka bir ülkeye devredilmesi ihtimalini gündeme getirdi.

In a statement on the evening of 26 September, he said Moscow could accept their transfer to a friendly third country.

However, Lavrov stressed that Russia had not yet received an official request on the matter.

Türkiye bought the S-400s from Russia in 2019; their presence is regarded as one of the main obstacles to rejoining the F-35 programme.
